Presenter & Producer

The foundations of my radio experience came from my role as Head of Training and Development at Fresh Air. I was nominated for and held this voluntary position at the student radio station while studying in my final year at University. I was responsible for the training of all new and current members on the studio equipment and society guidelines, while running two radio shows of my own. My achievements included:

  • Producing and presenting an interview-based radio show for 6 months on a student radio station that averaged about 12,000 listeners a month, which resulted in achieving a nomination for the UK Student Radio Award's 'Best Interview' award.

  • Re-designing a training scheme and training over 150 new and current members of the station within 1 month.

I have also researched, conducted and edited interviews for London College of Creative Media’s Music Box podcast.

HOME SONG RADIO

Over lockdown I ran a fortnightly radio show out of my bedroom, showcasing music I’d been listening to recently and some chat about songwriting, my influences, and life in lockdown as it happened.

Music featured includes a mix of folk, indie, punk and country, and all episodes are recorded and mixed by yours truly.
